Sahra Wahedi is a QuestBridge Scholar majoring in Global Affairs. She is originally from Queens, New York, and ethnically from Afghanistan. At Yale, she serves as the Executive Director of the Yale International Relations Association, writes policy as an Elected Senator for the Yale College Council, and works as a Peer Liaison at the Middle Eastern North African Cultural Community. In her free time, she enjoys reading Persian literature and playing basketball at the gym.
