Mia Rose Kohn is a Humanities major from all over (including San Francisco, Toronto, and Boston). Like her geography, her coursework is wide-ranging and straddled many interests –– American history, the history of science, and literature –– with a particular focus on how representations of reality (stories) shape our world. Mia is also a journalist and cartoonist. Her work has been published in the Boston Globe and The Forward, among others. On campus, she edits for The New Journal and the Yale Daily News, plays trumpet in the Undergraduate Jazz Collective and Chamber Orchestra, and boogies with the Yale Dance Lab and Ballet Company. Mia loves nature, good conversation, and her enormous dog, Sammy.
