John is a junior from Vancouver majoring in Economics and Mathematics. Since participating in Directed Studies in his freshman year, he has developed a strong interest in American history and political philosophy. His favorite text from that program was Thucydides’ History of the Peloponnesian War, and he is looking forward to revisiting it this summer at CTW. On campus, he works for Dwight Hall’s Socially Responsible Investment Fund and has taught courses for Splash! at Yale.
