Anna Stroinski is the Program Manager of the Yale Center for Civic Thought, where she coordinates and administers all aspects of the Center’s activities to advance its mission of encouraging thoughtful public discourse and civically responsible intellectual life in a rising generation of students, faculty, citizens, and leaders.
Before joining Yale, Stroinski held positions at Boston University, Princeton University, and Case Western Reserve University, where she gained broad experience in academic programming, student advising, community partnerships, event planning, and communications. She is also an accomplished freelance writer; her work for The Great Courses was recognized with a 2022 People’s Voice Webby Award.
Stroinski holds a B.A. in history and philosophy, summa cum laude, from Boston University, where she received the Peter A. Bertocci Award for Philosophical Excellence. As a Fulbright Scholar, she earned an M.A. in history with distinction at Durham University. Her intellectual interests span modern American history, economic and labor history, and the history of ideas.
