Noah Rosenfield is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at Yale University and the Reading Group Coordinator for the Yale Center for Civic Thought. His work explores twentieth-century European political thought, humanism, totalitarianism, political ethics, and culture. Before joining Yale, Noah was a research analyst for a private foundation in Washington, DC, and later served as a research associate in the Social, Cultural, and Constitutional Studies division at the American Enterprise Institute, concentrating on political culture and civic education. Noah received his BA from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he began a comparative study of European writers whose work and lives shed light on the relationship between politics, culture, and art under twentieth-century totalitarianism—a focus he continues to pursue in his PhD at Yale.
